While the fashion industry has always celebrated youth, and lithe little figures, Vogue France may have pushed the ante up a tad too far with an editorial by 10-year-old model, Thylane Lena-Rose Blondeau.

With Elle Fanning (Marc Jacobs) and Hailee Steinfeld (Miu Miu) landing high-fashion campaigns, and LOVE releasing new covers that feature Steinfeld and Chloe Moretz “pretty crying,” the fashion world is definitely having a field day with youth culture – for better or for worse. – Black Books

While it is without a doubt that Blondeau is stunning and most of her shoots are age-appropriate and not at all alarming, where does one draw the line at this obsession with lithe bodies and youth? When 13-year-old prepubescent models no longer meet the criteria, fashion turns to 10-year-olds.

Nevertheless, she has already garnered quite a bit of interest in pop culture. She has her own f*ckyeah Tumblr page and the ever-infamous, somewhat creepy YouTube video montages of her various shoots.
